Bent Limb Farm Alpaca Shearing and More

Every spring we shear our 45 Alpaca and open our farm to visitors. You can watch was we shear the animals or lend a hand by helping gather the animals, weigh, brush and vacuum them. They are led to the shearer who shears them and then they are returned to the fields. Their fiber is then bundled and weighed to be sorted and processed another day
You can also explore the farm on a self guided tour and visit with our animals. There are chickens for fresh eggs and meat, heritage breed pigs for pork, sheep for lamb, fainting goats for fun (and weed control), rabbits and turkeys. This year we have a special treat -- 8 baby fainting goats along with our baby piggies and chicks. Hopefully some baby alpaca will be be on the ground by shearing day.
The farm store will be open to buy alpaca products, yarn, fiber and other unique goods. We also sell our fresh eggs, pork, chicken, lamb, sausages and bone both. These meats and soups taste like you remember. Kettle Korn food truck, Greisemer Honey and Deerfoot Winery will be here all day. Nancy J., one of our neighbors will have seeds for your flower garden.
There is plenty of room outside to social distance but masks will be required in the store.
Children of any ages are welcome but sorry no dogs.
