First Responder Appreciation Event

Join in showing appreciation to our local first responders for the many ways they protect and serve our community by donating gift box items from October 18 - 25.

On Sunday, October 25th at 2:00 p.m. we will gather at Stafford Crossing for the socially-distant assembly of gift boxes to deliver to local fire, ems, and police stations. Baskets will be delivered to stations the week of f October 25 (National First Responder Day is October 28).

Suggested gift box items:
* Gatorade (or similar) chews
* Gatorade sticks
* Propel powder packets
* Belvita (or similar) biscuits/bars
* Clif bars (or similar)
* Individual non-refrigerated flavored creamers
* Packs of sugar-free gum
* Individually wrapped jerky or meat sticks
* Hand warmers (for the cold months ahead)
* Gift cards for Sheetz and Wawa
* 100-calorie packs of almonds (or other individually wrapped trail mix/healthy snacks)

If you prefer to donate financially, please mail your check to: Stafford Crossing, ATTN: First Responders, 1420 Forbes Street, Fredericksburg, VA 22405.

You may drop off donations at Stafford Crossing (1420 Forbes St., Fredericksburg, VA 22405) on Sundays October 18 or 25, and there will be a donation box located outside the office doors for drop offs during the week.

You may also drop off your donations at Malawi's Pizza (1 Towne Centre Blvd., Ste. 2400, Fredericksburg, VA 22407) or Bang Music (261-107 Garrisonville Rd., Stafford, VA 22554).
