Lap of Lights

Silverstone's new 2021 Christmas attraction, Lap of Lights, will be arriving soon at the home of British motor racing. Running from I December to 3 January closing only on Christmas Day, it is set to be the must-visit experience of the festive season.

The only place in the UK that hosts this unique Christmas experience, Lap of Lights features over 440 laser beams - powerful enough to hit the moon! - and 400,000 festive light pixels. The lap offers visitors the opportunity to self-drive the iconic Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit under darkness experiencing a dramatic light and laser show, following Santa's journey around the world. But don't worry, Santa is taking a pitstop on the track every night, so all our visitors will be able to give him a wave as they complete their lap.

The impressive Wing building, which houses the pits and paddock for the Formula 1 British Grand Prix, will be transformed into a winter themed Lodge this Christmas. The fun continues here with Ice Trak, an illuminated ice rink snaking through the Formula 1 garages and pit lane, the first ever skating rink to appear at the world-famous motor racing circuit.

In the Lodge a children's cinema and play activities will entertain the young visitors, with curling, axe throwing and DJ Santa on the decks offering something for every age to enjoy. Festive food and drink will ensure visitors can warm up, refuel and relax throughout the afternoon and evening. A range of souvenir merchandise is available to take home special memories of Lap of Lights 2021.

Lap of Lights tickets are from £30 per car including all occupants. Ice Trak is from £8 for adults, £6 per child. Entry to the Lodge is free with a Lap of Lights ticket.
