We are asking individuals, businesses and other organizations to cook their best CHILI for our cook-off, or to become a Sponsor for the event. Raffle items are gratefully accepted.

What is MPS? It is the body's inability to produce specific enzymes . The missing or insufficient enzyme prevents cells from recycling waste, resulting in the storage of materials in cells throughout the body. As the disease progresses there is widespread damage throughout the body, including the heart, bones, joints, respiratory system and central nervous system, leading to a shortened lifespan.

Since 1974, the Society has provided support for families living with MPS by funding promising research, providing family support programs such as access to doctors and other medical needs, and advocating for important legislative issues nationwide. Although MPS is a rare disease, thousands of children and adults are affected in the United States. Although we have some treatments for those impacted, we have no cures. We have a lot more work to do to achieve our mission and we need your help!
