Hi Marie. The number that you found on the website is the number of the embassy. You just have to listen to the voice prompt (machine) for instructions. Normally it will go like, "You have reached the Embassy of Belgium in Manila. To continue in English, press 1..." So you press 1 and then press 7 to speak to an operator. Once a real person picks up the phone, request to be transferred to the Visa Section and voila! You are at the correct department. Just make sure to follow their sched as you cannot call the visa section anytime of the day. Now regarding the approval of your visa, I believe the website still shows that they are waiting for the documents you sent but why don't you ask you fiancee to call the Immigration Office in Belgium to ask the status of your visa. With that, you will get things cleared. Good luck! :)

I see... But don't worry too much. They are probably still investigating your case. If it's any consolation to you, all other visa that were lodged on the same day as yours are also still being processed. If you wanna check yourself, just play around your visa number. For example, if yours is 11163, check 11162 and so on... ;)

    Hi Marie!
What additional document did you have to submit to the embassy? Was it your husband's health insurance? Did you get a confirmation email from them they received your documents? If you didn't, you better call them and ask if they received your document and if they sent it already to Belgium.

And Dina, please correct me if I'm wrong but from my understanding, you received an email from the embassy stating that your visa was approved on the same day that you submitted your MDA. Is that right?

The status of your visa might change to "In afwachting ontvangst van documenten die de visumaanvraag ondersteunen en die door de Belgische diplomatieke/consulaire post per diplomatieke valies verzonden wordt." after you have submitted your documents to the embassy and the documents are on its way to DVZ. Once DVZ has received it, the status of your visa might change to "In behandeling", "AKKOORD" or "WEIGERING".

If you already submitted your documents to the embassy, you may want to call them to ask if they already sent them to Belgium. :)

REGARDING TO THE SITE IT SAY LIKE THIS...

Date of the visa application: 6 November 2013
Date of registration of the visa application by the Foreign Office: January 7, 2014
Decision: Granting of visa on production of additional documents.
Date of Decision: January 13, 2014

NOW...CAN I ASK? ARE THEY GOING TO CHANGE THE RESULT IN THE SITE IF THEY HAVE THE PAPERS WHAT THEY NEEDED?
