Blair Packham and the Impossible Dream at Earlscourt Bbq

Catchy choruses, rich harmonies, lyrics and stories that range from heartbreaking to hilarious—the Impossible Dream has it all. Veteran singer/songwriter Blair Packham (acoustic guitar/lead vocals), Jim Nielsen (upright bass) and Andy Humphrey (drums/percussion) are the Impossible Dream, with their fun and quirky arrangements. On occasion, Jim also plays electric bass with Burton Cummings and the Fabulous Knockouts. Andy Humphrey bangs an assortment of suitcases and Pringles cans filled with rice, was a top sideman in Portugal for 16 years, after leading The Electric Fire Brothers in Toronto in the late '80s. As lead vocalist/guitarist for powerpop band The Jitters in the 1980s, Blair had several hit singles, including Last Of The Red Hot Fools and 'Til the Fever Breaks. With the breakup of The Jitters, Blair released three albums as a solo singer/songwriter, and in the summer of 2022 will be releasing The Impossible Dream's debut album.
