The internationally-acclaimed Toronto Mendelssohn Choir and chamber orchestra, conducted by Jean-Sébastien Vallée, present the Canadian premiere of Mass for the Endangered by American composer Sarah Kirkland Snider. "By turns diaphanous and urgent, exultant and wary, the music both immerses us in this perilous era and stirs us to examine our collective conscience (SF Classical Voice)." Also on the program Aaron Copland's striking In the Beginning and Andrew Balfour's Mamachimowin. Enjoy the concert in person or online (streaming tickets include access to the concert for two weeks). Patrons must wear a mask and provide proof of vaccination.
