The Beauty of Korea

As celebration of Asian Heritage Month in Canada, Toronto Academy Symphony Orchestra (TASO) along with the Consulate General Republic of Korea in Toronto, have organized this concert to share the diversity of Korean music with fellow Canadians.
This concert will consist of performances of traditional folk songs played with traditional instruments such as 'haegeum'. There will also be traditional dance performances with Korean traditional garments, 'hanbok'. Additionally, local Korean singers, will perform contemporary songs and TASO will play orchestral arrangements of contemporary music including those of BTS "Butter". These diverse performances will highlight the key historical shifts of Korean musical culture, providing a dynamic and enriching experience.
