For someone coming from the Netherlands, it is a good news to see that cycling around Buenos Aires is becoming trendy. It's funny to see that there are so many routes for tourists (like historical, literary or even ecological and tango related tours :-)
But I was wondering, does anyone use bicycle on their everyday joirney to work? I mean, back from home I am used to cycle everywhere, but I feel overwhelmed by the Buenos Aires trafic!

Well definately you need to be extremely cautious... but fortunately they r opening more bike roads that are separated from the traffic. If possible i d recommend to take this roads for as long as you can and avoid avenues with continuous traffic and buses. But i ve done it and its not impossible and a lot of people come to work here with their bikes. Just dont wear any kind of headphones that could distract you, be alert and wear a helmet. An be prepared for unexpected behavoiur. If you keep that in mind you shall be fine!
