Situation now in Manama

Can anyone tell about the current political situation in manama. We are planning to move there in a month. Also tell me about the monthly salary required for a high quality of life for a family of 3.

  Situation is calm now as of Sept 2012. Maybe some burning tyres on Budaiya highway, but its far away from capital and its just a nuisance, not dangerous at all.
