Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in West Bridgford, Notts October 2022

Funhouse Comedy Club is back at David Lloyd, West Bridgford, on Saturday October 15th for another great night of laughter.

Topping the bill is 2021 British Comedian of the Year Finalist, Greek comedian George Zach who has supported Luisa Omielan on tour. After gaining a degree in England he decided not to return to his home on a Greek Island. Instead, he chose to follow his passion for comedy, live in Newcastle and now entertains audiences with his funny Geordie observations.

Opening the night will the animated Sean Heydon, one of the country's premier comedy magicians, who has appeared on various TV shows, including Britain's Got Talent where he got a unanimous 4 yesses from the judges and Channel 4's Paul O'Grady Show, as the resident illusionist. With his unique style, he captivates the crowds, often receiving standing ovations.

Completing the line-up is Shazia Mirza, an international award-winning comedian and columnist for the Guardian Weekend magazine who has also guested on 'Have I Got News For You?' From Birmingham, she was previously a science teacher with one of her former pupils being the rapper Dizzee Rascal. Star of radio and TV she has appeared on 'Last Comic Standing', 'Richard and Judy' and 'The Wright Stuff'. Shazia's distinctive act combines a deadpan delivery with observation on her world; her laconic one-liners represent something quite unique in modern comedy.
