What make a good school is the teachers' commitment to giving enough attention to all students and providing comfortable learning environment to every student. Students that are naturally smart can either excel or be pulled down if the teachers do not do their best to steer them in the right direction, so there is no such a thing as "the best" school. What make a good school is the quality of teachers responsible for the future of their students.
In addition, the attribute of students and their academic ability play an important role to produce reputation of the school. The 'best' schools are very selective and admit only 'A' grade students and therefore they can produce 'high' results. It's eventually students who make up the reputation of the school.
