Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Chilwell, Notts February 2020

LAUGHTER AT BARTONS, CHILWELL, NOTTINGHAM

Funhouse Comedy returns to Bartons, Chilwell, Nottingham on Friday February 28th for a great night of laughter.

Topping the bill is writer, actor and comedian Barry Castagnola who has written for the likes of BBC’s ‘Ask Rhod Gilbert’, as well as creating characters for Dom Joly’s ITV show, ‘Fool Britannia’. His self-derision and anecdotes about his life cut to the chase, striking a chord with his audiences and his amiable persona never fails to appeal.

Opening the night will be writer and comedian the cheeky and versatile John Robertson. He has a nationwide following amongst anime and science fiction fans aged 25 and under thanks to his touring appearances and YouTube hit single, “The Cosplay Song” and his ‘Dark Room’ live inter-active adventure game has been an internet hit. With his incredibly original observations on everyday life and his captivating storytelling, he cleverly balances surprise and expectation in his own unique way.

Completing the line-up is comedian, film producer and director Marc Lucero. Runner up in The Online Film Festival with ‘The Question’ this summer the quirky and funny thinker uses his brilliantly ingenious gags and indisputable skill with language to expertly conjure up the most ridiculous of images, resulting in an entirely classy and original routine.

Compere for the night is the energetic, quick witted and naturally funny Joe Zalias with his amusing personal tales and charming persona.
