I am new here to the Saarland area. I moved here late last year from the USA. I will be living here for 3 or more years and I would love to meet some new people!

I am actually amazed that there is actually an international crowd here in SB.
I just got back here after 10 years of living in Italy...and I do have to admit that I really miss the International environment.
So, if you guys want to meet up for drinks, coffee or whatever....let me know.
It would be really nice to chat in English or Italian again.

Hi I am German . living in Dillingen near to Saarlouis . Would like to meet English Speakers at my area or at Saarbruecken . Like to speak English and to make new friends from any English speaking Country who are living in Saarland now . I am working in a DVD and game store witgh different shifts to do . But there will be time to meet to have a nice talk by a cup of coffee or a drink .
Can help in learning German of course. Would be nice if someone want to make a nice friendship to a German Lady .Looking forward to say Hallo to anyone out there. All ages are welcome . Skin color isn't a problem .

Thank you, Carolina. I found some online courses that provide some basics as starting point. I will enroll some university class later. Hope to meet you sometime.

Good to know you from this group. Do you work here? I have not had any luck with German language and have hard time to communicate with locals. Easy things as setup internet or local phone etc. can't even be done! :-(
Do you work in Saarbrucken city? When you have time, maybe you, my husband, and I can meet for coffee.

I just moved to Saarbrucken, the capital of Saarland due to my husband's job. I'm from New Jersey. How about you? Where in Saarland are you located? How's life here since your move?
I'm looking for American community but find it rare here. I plan to start learning German in October. Do you have recommendation as to where to learn German in Saarland? Thanks.
