Eindhoven: more than just a city of Mr. Phillips?

Hello,
During my visit in Eindhoven, I was surprised to see how much of the city was dedicated to Mr. Phillips. It seemed like the whole town is trying to build an identity around this famous resident. I am sure Eindhoven has more things that would make it's external identity. What are they for you?
