Hi all, I live and work currently in Nigeria, i am a welding inspector in the oil and gas sector. I have heard so much about UAE so i have decided to follow my instincts and look for work out there and relocate with my new wife who is an engineer too. Its not easy with the current financial situation but i am sure something will come up. Just so your informed, my forefront is Pipeline welding inspection and also wide experience in the drilling sector. Any support and networking will be valued. Meeting new friends on the way will be a bonus.

Hi Guys, I'm Uziii nice to meet you all...I am born and bred in the UK and will be moving to Dubai to work as a Quantity Surveyor towards the end of the year once visas etc have been processes. I will be visiting Dubai on Monday (09/11/15) for a week just for peace of mind, I want to view some apartments and do a few trial commutes from the various locations (JLT, Marina etc) to the office to understand commute durations which will help influence some of the decisions needed to be made.
I would be keen to meet up with some down to earth friendly people from all walks of life, if you feel you have any tips or advice for me in terms of accommodation/locations, car hire or just want to make contact for some friendly communication please feel free to message me and I will respond in due course.
