LOTS OF LAUGHTER AT THE OLD BELL HOTEL, DERBY

Funhouse Comedy Club is back at The Old Bell Hotel, Derby for more fun and laughter.

Headlining the night is the very likeable Paul Pirie, who gave up acting to start his comedy career. At the time he was living with his Gran, having given away the keys to his flat in a pub quiz! He has appeared on TV, Radio and Film and has become one of the biggest Scottish acts on the UK comedy circuit. Full of energy his side-splitting one-liners never fail to enthral everyone.

Supporting will be comedian and political activist Kate Smurthwaite. Regularly appearing on TV and Radio News Channels, she tackled Ken Clarke at her first appearance on Question Time in January. Winner of a ‘Three Weeks Editor’s Award’ at last years Edinburgh Festival, her appealing character and articulate address intrigues her audiences as she mesmerizes them with her unique observational humour.

Also appearing will be Jack Barry with his witty musings and spontaneous dialogue.

Compere for the night is Barry Dodds, winner of Best MC, Midlands Comedy Awards 2015 and 2016, who captivates the crowd with his energy, spirit and tantalizing wit.
