Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Nuneaton June 2023

Funhouse Comedy returns to the Abbey Theatre, Nuneaton on Friday June 16th
for a laughter packed night.

Topping the bill is the hilarious Jonny Awsum, who appeared on ITV's Britain's Got Talent 2017 and cajoled Ant and Dec into joining his audition and has just supported Jason Manford on his arena tour. Starting out as barman at The Chuckle Club for eight years he then decided to take to the stage. With his guitar and musical parodies he amuses his audiences charming them with his warm and friendly persona, his style of audience participation is second to none. He has presented for Sky Sports, been warm up act for Big Brother and Loose Women and also starred in several adverts including Cravendale, The Post Office, Experian and even Puntigamer beer in Austria.

Opening the night will be Dave Longley, one of the few comics able to play to any audience without compromising on his material, intelligent, silly and thought-provoking he's always sure to make his mark.

Completing the line-up is 'Brummie' Andy White. With his mad afro and daft voices he delivers a mix of topical and observational humour. His energetic persona can change from cheeky and upbeat to deadpan, without a flinch.

Compere for the night will be Barry Dodds winner of Best MC, Midlands Comedy Awards for 4 years running and co-star of the 'The ParaPod Movie' which has been selling out cinemas, who enthrals the crowd with his energy, spirit and tantalizing wit.
