Save the Children Christmas Parade 10th December

Yearly parade started over 30 years ago for the charity Save the Children. This years parade is dedicated to Mrs Margery Ryan who started the parade and organised it for over 30 years. The parade includes over 40 various floats and marching bands including local organisations. Also steam engines. It starts from Brook Road at 2.15 and arrives in Wimborne Square. at 3pm. Also included are vintage cars with the Snow Princess and Father Christmas on board.Father Christmas will be in the Museum of East Dorset after the parade to meet the children. There will be no charge to visit Father Christmas. Various entertainers and bands will be in and around Wimborne Square as well as Cole's mini Funfair from 10am.
All donations will go to Save the Children.
