Stealing Thunder Storytelling Festival

Fairytales for grown ups and Myths for kids at this 3 day storytelling festival in the beautiful village of Bowland Bridge near Kendal and Windermere.

Spellbinding storytelling, campfires, puppet shows, pop up theatre, folk and world music, storywalks through the valley, late night silent disco, guided fell running, singing, drumming and crafting workshops, loose parts play, ceilidh, kids tents, toddler play, yoga, meditation by the babbling beck and more.

Welcome to the second Stealing Thunder Storytelling Festival. From 2nd-4th June, a small green site in the beautiful Lake District village of Bowland Bridge will become a welly-boot-ique festival of wonder. Enter a world of playfulness, epic stories and wild enchantment... and the occasional sheep.
