Why can't I connect with Colombian women?

No matter how hard I try, I can’t seem to connect with Colombian women. I’ve been living in Cartagena for a few months now, and I haven’t landed a date ever since. Physically, I don’t think I look that bad, plus I have very good hygiene and manners. I don’t know, maybe it’s the language barrier? Or perhaps most local women are just not interested in getting together with foreigners? Any locals or foreigners staying in the country who can give some insight? I’m really curious to read some!
