Keep his french car in Netherlands

Hi People,

I'm going to live in Amsterdam and even if I will move in bike, I would like to keep my car (with french registration).
For now, I have a french insurance attached to a french address. How it works? Can I keep it with french registration during some months? How many Time? Not possible?

What do you know about that?
