Hi!! Im Sole, im from Argentina, but Im living in Spain at the moment (Valencia)...Im thinking about going to the Netherlands to spend a while, like a month, or two. The thing is that the only place where I can stay until I find a definitely place, is Friesland, in a friend s house....
Can you tell me something about the city??? about jobs, fun, weather...dont know...everything helps!!!

Friesland is a very nice part of the Netherlands, a really great place to visit, however their justice system and child care services need to be looked into, especially towards foreign women. Read these links and understand more:

Hey there, I was around the Netherlands for 3 whole weeks but covered all the provinces by going on a camper car and drive everyday. I don't know if you're already there and find a job or what, but the least thing I can try to help you with is share my experiences. For me, Fryslan is the most beautiful to live in, in the city centrum in cities like Leeuwarden (or Sneek, Stiens and even smaller towns), I think you will be able to find small jobs there. Although they might won't pay you as much as if you work in Amsterdam, living in Fryslan is (in a certain extent: by far) considerably less expensive, and you will end up saving your money.
Note about Fryslan: (as far as I can see) The people are very nice and subtle, family-like relationships, kind and helping to anyone, athough if you enter very small communities you might find yourself among Frysians, and they speak Frysian! =D But if you can learn the local anguage, that's even better!!

Really I dont know the city where my friend lives, because he's just about to move...but I mean, in general, can you tell me something about Friesland?? the cities in Friesland are very different in between??
My idea is to go and look for a job, live there for a month, or two..preferably in Amsterdam, Utrecht, Rotterdam, or Eindhoven...but im afraid that I go to Friesland, and then is very hard to move to another places to look for a job...because I would like a job as waitress, hostess, in a bar, restaurant...something sociable, where I can meet people, and stuff...
So..whatever you can tell me is really helpful...regards,
