Hi! I would like to go to California for some time but I did not know which city is the best...
What do you think??? I would like to have some advices from people living there...

Ive travleled Northern CA. for 3 times, but never been to the South. But I don't feel regret to choose SF all the time. I like the people , food and the beautiful weather and views. I felt comfortable overthere.Hope it's helpful and good luck on your trip.

Los Angeles is the place where everything is happening... but it's all fake, like Hollywood. However, I would say that the people there are more happy. That sounds good, but San Francisco has nicer people. It's kind of like this:
Los Angeles = Extroverted
San Francisco = IntrovertedGo with your personality.
I personally live in the Bay Area and I've traveled to south California, so,
I might be bias, haha. I'l say this though, people tend to like Northern Californians better.

My best friend stays in Los angles and she always talks about how nice the city is.

Everyone in san francisco hates los angeles, and everyone in los angeles loves san francisco. I know hundreds of people from both cities and it is a completely one-sided argument. As a tourist you may not be able to tell the difference. Ultimately if you want to get an idea of what americans really like about los angeles its not the city, but the movies that come out of it.

I love both cities, but have to love S.F more =D It never gets hot! Thank god because I love cool weather. S.F is so beautiful. Its smaller than Los Angeles. You will find that everthing is in a comfortable walking distance. Its also easier to drive around if you prefer. Los Angeles is more crowded, and gets really hot in the summer, but they have awsome beaches. I personally love the Santa Monica beach. Either way I think you will love either city..so good luck on your trip and have fun!

It depends of various things. San Francisco is a much smaller city that has good public transportation and you will not need a car. The weather is cooler most of the year. Also the apartments in the city are more expensive, but the food is the best. Los Angeles is a large city with many options to choose from. Within the downtown area public transportation is improving, but the best way to get around is with a car. I prefer the weather and the beaches in Los Angeles, but that is my personal opinion.
