I understand a lot of SUV owners have probably ruined this for future drivers, but according to the uhaul website, I am not allowed to tow even their smaller pack trailer with my 2003 Ford Explorer.
Is that the reason? They just had too many people who did not take SUV+trailer=smart driving seriously or something? I've had experience hauling trailers for my family before and it just makes me sad guess.
Especially since my husband's 2002 Subaru Outback would be allowed to haul it if he had a tow kit installed....
