A Christmas Carol

USI Theatre continues its 2021-2022 live season with a Christmas classic: A Christmas Carol. This adaptation of Charles Dickens’ beloved story was written and will be directed by USI’s own Elliot Wasserman. The production runs from November 18-21, 2021 in the USI Performance Center located in UC east on USI’s campus. In compliance with CDC guidelines and the USI COVID-19 Task Force, there will be a reduced number of seats available, and masks will be required in the Performance Center for the duration of the performance. Our actors will be unmasked.

A quartet of ghosts take the stage to deliver old Ebenezer Scrooge a transformative lesson about charity, love and forgiveness on the eve of the holiday that encourages all of us to take stock of ourselves and know that true blessings in this life are meant to be shared. First and foremost, this play is for children --and for the child who survives in all of us every day, still alert for miracles, and always wanting to be good.

To help all families enjoy this special holiday event, attendees under the age of 18 will get in free.
