The war has been won but now there's a new enemy to face, Austerity!

The Play's The Thing. Set in the post war period of 1945-51, when Britain nationalised the railways and the rabbits. Austerity - the musical is based entirely on an untrue story. The truth is, this new comedy musical is a pack of lies. Join our motley theatre crew as they hatch an ambitious plan to mark their own Festival of Britain by mounting a full scale production of an ancient Greek tragedy about the trials and tribulations of war - with only a shoestring between them.
With original music by Jonny Cheriyan, and occasional strong language, this new work by Mike Elliston, is directed by Rosemary Hill.
