We welcome you to PART 1 of the Monterey bar´s 2nd anniversary weekender.

After 2 years of pushing the boundaries and opening the doors to many people through high quality beers, music and service we celebrate with a massive weekend to say thanks to you all.

Coronado Brewing Company began their journey in 1996 when the land at 170 Orange Avenue was chosen to be the site of the brewery by brothers Ron and Rick Chapman, whose family date back more than a hundred years in Coronado town. The Ferry landing first used in 1886 has gone many changes since then and many beers from the Coronado Brewing portfolio pay homage to the history of the area such as their Silver Strand, SD Fleet Week and Orange Avenue wit. The colorful nautical naming of many of their fine beverages reflect the sea and maritime charm of the old sandbar landing and after 19 years of consistent great products the Coronado Brewing Company has etched it´s own place in the history of the mighty San Diego brewing scene. In 2014 they were crowned the World Champion Mid sized brewery by the World Beer Cup to add to numerous awards over the years.

Rick Chapman owner of Coronado Brewing will be joining us with some of the crew from Bier Deluxe who are hosting this event with the Monterey Bar. We will be presenting 6 beers from their magnificent catalog for you to try as well as a scorching soundtrack from DJ Jah Funk featuring California soul, surf, skate, punk and rock sounds with special lightning effects for a very Californian surf beach, big wave experience.
