Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Blisworth, Northants December 2020

Funhouse Comedy brings another socially-distanced night of fun and laughter to the Walnut Tree Inn, Blisworth on Monday December 28th.

Topping the bill is the animated Sean Heydon, one of the country's premier comedy magicians, who has appeared on various TV shows, including Britain’s Got Talent where he got a unanimous 4 yesses from the judges and Channel 4's Paul O’Grady Show, as the resident illusionist. With his unique style, he enchants the crowds, often receiving standing ovations.

Opening the night will be the effortlessly engaging Andrew Bird, who was the support act on Michael McIntyre's recent arena tour and has also supported Rhod Gilbert and Lee Hurst on tour, as well as performing internationally. Watching The Young Ones with his brothers as an eight year old, at two in the morning on Comic Relief, he realized then that he wanted to be funny in some way. With his personal appeal and superbly crafted, funny anecdotes, he captivates his audiences.

Also appearing is Pete Phillipson, originally from Lincolnshire but based in Manchester, he has been building a name for himself on the circuit as a very funny act over the last few years, mixing fast-paced observations and routines with wonderful characterisations.

Compere for the night will be Pete Teckman who has been crowned Silver Stand Up of the Year 2017 at Leicester Comedy festival, an award for comedians over 40 years of age, with his mix of self-effacing and empirical humour.
