COMEDIAN ROBERT "STICK" MCCLAY is undeniably one of the hottest comedians in Chicago. His comedy offers a blend of raw, compelling hilarity, urban charisma and truth. He highlights the imperfections of daily life and provides a positive solution through his style of comedy. He's very relatable to his audience which is why he has such a huge following.
Chicago born and raised, Comedian Stick got his initial start from becoming a runner up in the 2002 Canadian Mist Comedy Search. After a seven-year hiatus, in 2009 he reemerged on the comedy scene with a weekly room which is was one of the most talked about and the longest running room in the city. From 2009-2018 Comedian Stick hosted every Thursday night at D.J.'s Sports Bar and Grill titled "Shuuuduup Comedy Slam". He also had his own TV show which aired on Channel 25 (Chicago Local Network) called "Everyday People" in which he wrote, produced, directed and co-starred.
After creating such a buzz on the comedy scene, in 2013 Comedian Stick was invited to open for Eddie Griffin.In 2015, he was a finalist in the Shaquille O'Neal All-Star Talent Search and headlined the Hollywood Improv which was hosted by DeRay Davis and featured Mike Epps, Jay Leno and Ron White. He also performed at the Comedy Union and the Comedy Store in Los Angeles, California.
