Saturday 11/14 - Rescue Dog Adoption Day Fundraiser at Mattress Doctor in Youngsville

Mattress Doctor Lafayette is hosting an event supporting local animal rescue Precious Paw Prints animal rescue, by having an on location pet adoption day event on 11/14 from 10am-2pm. Over that entire weekend, 10% of all Mattress Doctor sales will be donated to support this rescue.

When a dog gets adopted, that INSTANTLY saves the life of another dog, as shelters are ALWAYS extremely OVER POPULATED. It’s a REAL problem 365 days a year in Louisiana.

What can I expect?
Meet and play with as many of the dogs as you like, these poor souls need all of the love they can get and it's such a blessing to give them love, even if it's only for a few moments. Food and drinks will be provided free of charge, however we do encourage anyone eating and drinking to donate a dollar or two, if they are able to do so. You can expect to have a lot of fun, it's a very relaxed environment and no one is going to pressure you into adopting or buying any merchandise, if you aren't interested. You can also expect to get more educated on how important the work we're doing is, and how terribly bad the stray population and overcrowding in shelters really is, 365 days a year. When a hurricane/flood happens, the problem is increased exponentially. Many people, aren't even aware there are any kill shelters in Louisiana, but they are everywhere unfortunately. Which, is why we need your help to make a difference, it doesn't matter if it's adopting, donating, purchasing a bedding product, sharing the event news with friends/family, or simply caring, every option just listed plays a vital role in making an impact in our local community. Mattress Doctor has graciously donated a number of prizes to giveaway, there will be no purchase necessary, your attendance is the only requirement for entry.
