Posted in Australia forum

Hi all, I'm writing a paper on Australia for school and would need some help. What's your biggest/most important traditions and how do you celebrate those days? Some info about an every day life in Australia.

I appreciate all help I can get!

Best regards
Sandra

    Hi Sandra,

One of our most important days is coming up shortly. It's called ANZAC Day and it is celebrated Australia wide. If you google it you will be able to find alot of info about the history and traditions of ANZAC Day. We also celebrate Australia Day in January. Other than that we celebrate the Christian holidays. Our Christmas' is very hot so we traditionally eat salads, seafood and cold meats. Well, that's just a couple of ideas but it would be safe to say we pretty much celebrate every holiday with a bbq and beer. Hope that helped!
