Planning to Migrate to Australia & also looking for Jobs as well.

Posted in Australia forum

Hi All,
Last week, i have visited some consultancies to get to know the details on the migration. From them i came to know that, Aus visa will take minimum 1year to 2years to get the visa. I like to know the Aus job market for PM jobs.
Currently i am working as a PM in IBM and holding 7 years of experience.
Please let me know where can i find all these details and also which is the best consultancy i can approach for? how much will i need to pay for the visa?

you can ping me in [...]

    Hi,
If I were you, i'd be careful with these consultancies. Some of them just want to take your money and won't help you at all. If you have a good background in IT, you can try to answer Australian job ads to be sponsored by a tech company in Australia. Or you can check the government website to see if your occupation is in demand. That's what some of my friends have done to get work in Australia. I suggest you read this article on how to find a job in IT in Australia when you're a foreigner: http://www.myjobinaustralia.com/getting-a-visa-to-work-in-it

Hi friends, we have been building a social networking platform for college aspirants from around the world - And it's finally live now!!!

It's a platform where students can get advice from the fellow community. The best part of IvyTies is that, you can talk and connect with people who can guide you with your admission concerns. For example: if you have questions on getting into Columbia University, chances are that you will find someone from Columbia university to clarify your concerns. Or if it is a general visa question, IvyTies.com community can help you with that as well!

I am hoping you or one of your customers can help. I am a qualified electrician living in South Africa. I have knowledge in health and safety and am computer literate. In South Africa I am a qualified Master Electrician (I can work in hazardous areas) and have my wireman’s license. I have worked in both the industrial sector as well as the domestic sector.

We are a family of 3 and have applied for immigration to Australia from South Africa in July last year under the general skilled migration visa application. As the visas for approval have been reduced, unless you get sponsored, I have been told it could take me up to 3 years to get my visa.

I am hereby asking for help with either sponsorship or a job offer. I have completed all the requirements under independent skilled immigration, ie, my IELTS exam, passed the Trades Skills Assessment through Vetassess under general electrician etc.

You can reach me on [...]
    Thank you so much

Thanks Nadine....still the job searching is going on...untill i will get a good sponsor. Even i heard from consultancies that processing time will take upto 18 months...so i think it is difficult to get the visa immediately...If you can suggest me in getting a good sponsor then it would be great...
