    hey ladies and felipe,

apparently, the embassy is having a hard time opening my scan doc in the insurance part and since yesterday i keep on sending the file over and over again andd today i have to reduce the resolution.. hope it works.. so Desert Vixen.. you will definitely get yours by friday i guess and for me, maybe Wednesday the latest?.. crap!

in the meantime, ZD Pardo, is it true that our Filipino Non Prof Drivers License is honoured in BE? or do we need an International Drivers License in Manila to use it there in BE..

one thing, am i making sense here? hehehehe...

Well, it was a little sad to know that it wasn't just 1K. I was ecstatic pa naman. Hahaha! But at least it's way cheaper than 18K. ;) I might do that too. What is NEMO 33? Oh yeah, that'll be so cool. Can't wait to try that too. And about the diving sites, you're right. Nothing beats the tropics. :)

I also can't wait to get to go to BE knowing that I already know Filipinas like you and ZD Pardo. Like what you said, it's nice to know that you're not alone. :D

See you guys soon. And I hope to hear from the Embassy tomorrow or on Thursday. :)

Hello Desert Vixen, i apologize for my numbers, per 25kg in FEdex is Ten Thousand and twelve pesos and eighty centavos!Php10,012.80 hehe.. sorry really! Wow! seriously this is so cool! all of us are from West Flanders! wohoooo!!!! right on!

for the sea life in cold waters, not very promising.. water is almost zero visibility and very yellow green every where.. so intimidating but hey, it's always nice to try other water around the world right.. more on lobsters and some weird looking fishes.. for me, nothing beats the tropics that's why they love the philippines!but one thing we totally have to try is NEMO 33. i am so looking forward for this pool for a fun dive!

can't wait to get settled in BE.. especially now that i know i am so not alone! yahoooo!

Felipe, you know what? every single time i am applying for visit a friend visa and even now with the fiancee visa, me and my man are always very worried and anxious on when and how are we going to receive any news from the embassy and trust me, it's all normal! you'll be fine.. we've all been there and done that! hehehe...

For real Anna Liza??? Only 1K ++ for a 25 KG??? I want one too. OMG! :) Do you know until when this promo is going to be? And does it apply to all FedEx branches here in Manila? And how's the coral reef in France? My fiance and I are also into diving. Maybe one time, we can all go diving. Yay! :D

It's nice that you're busy with work, Felipe. It helps a little to take things off your mind. Are you familiar with the Law of Attraction? Just keep thinking it and it will come to you. ;) Stay positive.

Hey ZD Pardo! I hope you had an awesome weekend (well, I'm sure you did. Hehehe). My fiance and I already talked about meeting you and Anna Liza in BE. Apparently, we' re also from West Flanders. Small world, eh? Can't wait! :)

    Hello back Ladies and Felipe,

so i sorted out my girly stuff to bring to BE and fortunately, FEdex is having some promos these days. there biggest box is 25kg and it is worth Php1012.80 each and it will be delivered right at our doorstep after 3 working days. I also asked PhilPost and for a 25kg, it is worth Php18,600. so i am obviously grabbing FEdex only because i feel safe with it and it already created it's name and reputation. so 3 boxes of 25kg. here i go!!!

ZD Pardo - owwww... i love weekends! great that you had enjoyed it with your husband! with me and my man, we do dive a lot and the last time i dive in france with him in a freezing cold water i was suffocated with my suit.. as per my man, i am still adopting to the dive suit with gazillions of layers! hehehe.. so i am looking forward in diving again in the cold waters..

Desert Vixen - hahaha.. i know! friday the 13th it is this coming Friday right?.. we'll monday will be okay i guess too..

Felipe - dear, you will be fine.. start choosing which clothes to bring for your vacay.. wohooo!!

Sorry we're away for the weekend and I only get to check my emails today..

@Felipe - I was not asked for COE on my visit to a friend visa so don't worry about it..you will receive an advice from the embassy before this month ends or first week of June.. I remember my visa reference number was not also registered in the dofi website, but still received a positive response from the embassy 5 weeks later through email.. so don't worry your pretty head about it ~ the (positive) answer will be given to you in no time. keep the faith brother! :D

@Annaliza - I suggest that you stick to the airlines rule on baggage limit.. My fight was also Etihad and I was charged Php15K for a 10kilo overweight (but only because I have with me our wedding paraphernalia that I cannot leave behind). I suggest you send your other stuff through a freight service. I also had my other things send through philpost ~ here is the link for the rate (http://philpost.gov.ph/web/international_postage_rates.pdf)

Keep in touch y'all. God bless!

I agree with everything that Anna Liza said. Besides, from what I remember from ZD Pardo's blog, she didn't have to submit other documents too. So yeah, just wait a little bit more and try to relax. ;)

Anna Liza, I also just sent my documents to the embassy today. I'm also hoping that they will ask us to go to the embassy by friday. Although I hope it's gonna be on Thursday. I have thing for Friday the 13th kasi eh. Hehehe! =P

And as always, let's keep each other posted. ;)

    flights, insurance, luggage and felipe

    Hey Desert Vixen and Felipe,

so i just forwarded tot he embassy's email my flight details from Etihad, i payed oneway $760USD and insurance from Chartis worth $150USD. So hopefully by friday i should get my passport with visa finally! we'll see..

good for you if you will buy your stuff in BE. but for me, i really want to bring them all.. but i will consider PhilPost or other businesses that caters freight services. i'll keep my fingers crossed.

for felipe, my dear, coz for me, i always submit the requirements complete so i am really not certain on how will it work with your situation, the thing is, once the officer accepted your docs, normally they will give you a grace period to complete the docs submission, afterwards, complete or not, they will forward this to Belgium itself for final decision. why dont you try to check again the link around May 20 and see if there is anything by then, if not, then just follow up with the embassy by June first week should there be still no advice.

in the meantime, just sitback and relax.. let's admit it, it is still a little early to worry right?.. you'll be fine..;)

Well, I once traveled to Jordan and I had to stay for 6 months but I was successfully able to pack only 30kg. It was such a struggle but I had to choose my clothes and shoes carefully. Hehehe! It was difficult but possible. As for BE, I'm just gonna bring a few clothes and buy the rest in BE. LOL. However, my mom (hopefully) is gonna visit us in August so I might ask her to bring the rest of my stuff. Just do what you think is best. ;)

    Hi Felipe,
No result meaning to say it doesn't show any file whenever you search for your visa number? It happened to me too when I was applying for a tourist visa. At that time, it says no result. But now, when I check for it, it shows me my visa result. Strange isn't it? If that's the case, then I guess you can only wait for the Embassy to contact you. *sigh* I know how frustrating that can be. :( But no worries, just keep hanging on. You'll never know. Maybe tomorrow is your lucky day. ;)
