    Hi everyone,
I've been thrice in Czech Republic, and my first Czech friends were exchange students in France. They gave me a very good impressions about Czech Republic and Czechs. Before that, I've been to Finland, UK, Hungary, Slovakia and so on and frankly, what I don't like about Czechs are the expectations they have about the color of your skin. They don't mean it at all, that's why i keep coming back. but the other day, i've been offered to teach hiphop whereas I've never ever danced before but few minutes later, another person came and revealed it was just about my skin: they wanted a black person as an advertisement for their courses and that is not the first time such a thing happens... I take it with humor because it's so inappropriate hahhaha and i know it's not mean at all but at some point, when people expect something you don't have, it's quite frustrating for everyone. instead of "can you do that?", i'd rather be asked "what can you do"

Otherwise, Czech Republic is definitely a great place to be! Way better than Finland! people are polite and nice if you talk to them. I've asked my way many times, even though they don't speak english (:
