Bonjour,

I was only wondering whether you can give me any possitive/negative/any information on Montpellier. The life, the food, the people ... the wheather ... suggestions ... and eventually how difficult it will be for foreigner to move there/live there/work there (especially if unfortunatelly her french language skills are very limited :-().

Merci beaucoup.

    Bonjour,
I have just stayed here in Montpellier for 5 months or so. This is a small and pretty town accompanies with lots of sightseeing spots around if you like the nature, the weather is just great if you like the sun, lots of small cozy bars and restaurants to check out in the evenings, salsa is very popular here if you do dancing, if you are sporty, there are enough places to check out....lots of positive points as you see. And people are very friendly or at least they seem to be... But, people here in the south, they do not speak English and even they do speak English, they still prefer to stick with their language... As far as my experience goes, they as long as they have the sun and a bottle of good wine, nothing is matter. And the last thing is, like any other places in France, when you cant fit yourself into rules, means you are exception, the situation can be a nightmare...even the big bosses do not know the solution....Anyways, that is worth checking out. Good luck.
