Hamburg advices - german lessons & flats

Hi Marina:),
Im portoghese and i want (well, im thinking) to move to Hamburg but i dont know any word in german or anything at all about life in Hamburg.
I ask u as a foreigner what do u thing about living, the people, etc.
Do u have/had german lessons? where?
and about flats there are any advices or where can i look it?
