    SERVUS!
    Hello Everyone!

We are moving back to Germany within the next few months YAY!(when my VISA eventually gets approved!)
We have been in South Africa (my home country) for 5 years. My husband is German born and grew up in Munich. (We shout for the Bayern football team lol)
We are moving to the Lippe Kreis area over December/January. We are very excited to be able to return. Our boys are 12 & 6 years old.

I hope to find other families with children that speak english and german to be friends with. A little support network goes a long way!

    Hiya!

I'm Lilian, a Malaysian who's lived in Zurich, Switzerland and Lancaster, UK and just moved to Trier on the 1st Aug.

Am married to a German, who's never lived in Germany till now. I have two boys born in 1998 and 2004. I can speak German and am looking out for people who'd like to share my love of knitting.

Hoping to hear from someone soon!

I just joined this community because I'm moving to Freiburg in October to study German at the Goethe-Institut there. I'm hoping to meet some others who are in a similar situation. Anyone out there? :)

    Hi Jason,
My name is Vanesh and I have been in Munich for the last 2 months.
I will be here for the next 2 years on a work contract with my company.

Munich is really beautiful but now in the summer I miss a good old fashion braai with my friends.
I know the "lost" feeling well. I have just started learning German which seems to be helping to dispel some of the loneliness.

Hope we can chat some more.

    Regards
    Vanesh

Hello, my name is James and I have recently moved to Leipzig. My girlfriend is from here.
Would be great to meet up with other expats who would like to exchange information about Leipzig as well as practice German. Would be nice to organize some events!
    Please contact me if interested.
