I'm not quite clear on your question - are you importing your car into Ireland? If so, then I believe that you need to first get your car assessed for vehicle registration tax (VRT) within 7 days of it arriving in Ireland. Then you have 30 days to complete the registration process. If you can prove that you have owned the vehicle for 6 months or more, you won’t be required to pay the VAT.
Owning a car in Ireland - you will also need to pay motor tax and if your car is older than 4 years, then it will also need to undergo a National Car Test (NCT). You are also legally required to have insurance on your vehicle in Ireland. Learn more about owning a car in Ireland here http://relocatingtoireland.com/getting-around-ireland/owning
