Hello,
I am an oleh chadash in Israel and just got here last week! I did not come with much, but am now starting to think about certain things that I will need to populate my apartment with; TV, laundry machine, drier, dish washer, etc...
As an oleh, I am able ship items from overseas import-tax-free 3 times. I wonder if it makes sense for me to buy these appliances abroad and have them shipped. Is there anyone with experience that has done this? in particular, shipping from either US or Germany...
