I am also travelling to Italy on March for a year. I am planning on going to Florence, but I am not that sure. I am 18 years old so I don't plan living in a big city as a first experience. Please help me!
these are some characteristics I need:

    -small/medium city
    -great nightlife, specially dancing clubs
    -art, music.. CULTURE!
    -nice people
-easy city for traveling to the rest of Italy!

    Thank you!

    Happy Merry Christmas soon!

Wow. Life IS SHORT! I can't believe that when I posted a message here it was well over 1 and a half years ago (and I still haven't lived in Italy).
Still hoping though, as I have at least been in Europe during the last year.
So still looking around. I heard Rome is (like almost all big cities) very polluted.........and expensive, and if there are also not many jobs there........then that doesn't sound so attractive.........please let me know more.

    Ciao,

I am new to this but I have always wanted to move to Italy and I have also been interested in the Puglia and Piemonte regions. Can anybody give me any suggestions on these regions or help me find possibly a better place to suit me? I am a political science (international relations) and a criminal justice major with a minor in italian so if any regions or cities have a focus on these that would be a plus.

    A presto
