British Schools - Additional costs

Hello!

I am considering a job in Kuwait, and would be relocating myself and two children (Ages will be 9 and 11 on arrival.)

I am currently crunching the numbers and need a little advice on additional costs of sending them to international school, beyond the obvious fees.

Do you send your child to international school? If so, how much would you say it costs for uniform, books, trips, school transport and is there anything else I am missing out? School trips prehaps?

  Admission Requirements

  All students applying for placement at IBS will have a placement test in English and Mathematics.
  Except for KG, Reception and Year 1 (from Year 2 onwards) a student who has not attended a recognized school, cannot be admitted without submitting a passed Transfer Certificate (original) from the last school attended.
  
  The criteria of admission in KG-1 and KG-2 is the required age attained according to the official birth certificate issued by the authorities as per criteria given here under:

  Reception 4 Years and 6 Months
  Year 1 5 Years and 6 Months
  Year 2 6 Years and 6 Months
  Year 3 7 Years and 6 Months
  Year 4 8 Years and 6 Months
