Type 1 Diabetic info in Kuwait

Posted in Kuwait forum

Hi, can anyone give me any info on how i would be able to get insuline for expats in Kuwait, me and my husband are considering moving over with our 3 year old and my husband is T1 diabetic. I this something we could get on prescription or would we need to get this sent to us from the UK?

Any help prior to us moving is appreciated thanks, Emma x

Kuwait, like the U.K. is a modern country. Type 1 diabetic meds (Insulin) are readily available at medical clinics and hospitals. You will not experience any problems obtaining them.

Everything related to diabetes is available at the pharmacies, my father has diabetes, I sometimes buy it for him.

The hospitals are ok here and with Themis country leading the way for diabetics I'm sure you can get insulin but you would have to see a doctor here also it's quite expensive I would imagine
