UAE's driving license

Hi Guys,

Please advise me on the procedures for converting UAE's driving license to Kuwait's driving license.

  Hi aly aly,

  I have tired to transfer my dubai licence to kuwait...bt in shuwaik traffic they wre saying my professn(Technician) not allowed for transfer,i hav 400KD salary in my work permitt & got attested degree certificate,then why they wre not issuing licence to me??????

  Do u hav any idea to overcome this problem?????wat i have to do nw??ineed licence very urgently....wat was ur professn in ur work permitt????

  Hi Hasan,

  From where did you got the NOC in Saudi Arabia? Did you went personally to get the NOC? I am struggling to get NOC from Saudi traffic department right now.

  Hi Rends,

  My guess is, if you go back to Dubai you can get the copy of driving license easily. You dont need to retake the driving test.

  Just tell them your license number and they should be able to print a new one for you.

  Thankyou again for your kind information,i just want to know if suppose i will surronder my dubai licence in here,wheni go back dubai hw i will get it back,somebody told its difficult to transfer kuwait licence to dubai again,they will not accept any GCC licence until we passed their driving test......hope i have to go back dsubai after 1-2year,so please tell me the procedure........

  Yes you will have to surrender your Dubai's driving license.

  Rends,

  They will take your Dubai license at the HQ of Trafic police.

  There is no need for attestation they only need it with stamp and letter head.

  I have done the attestation but did not use it.

  You need to sign the application from your sponsor before you go there, they will request his signature attestation, copy & orignial of your work permit, copy & original of Civil ID, some pictures, orginal & copy of your degree.

  If there is any document missing they wil tell you.

  It is better to ask your office PRO to handel it for you

  u will get it from any of the RTA office in dubai....just need to pay 100dhs and one photo.........

  Thank you for your kind information, i just have a doubt...while changing dubai licence to kuwait licence,do we need to surrender our dubai licence in local muroor kuwait????????need any attestation from MOFA dubai???????some people saying like that,iam also planning to convert my dubai licence and already got NOC & documents typed from Local muroor,kuwait......
