    teaching in Luxembourg

posted by  Katy Liput in Luxembourg forum

    Hello there,

A friend of mine is a french teacher in a state school, and she's told me that you must be able to communicate in Luxembourgish to teach in one of the public schools here. As far as I understand, fluency is not essential.

Your other options are the ISL, St.Georges or the European school of Luxembourg, in which English is usually enough.

If those options fall through, private schools are always looking for English teachers. I know it's not what you're looking for, but you can take it up while you look for something more suitable
