    Hi Camila,

I am Malaysian. So, you'll come to further your study in University of Malaya, right? UM is located in Kuala Lumpur, I can said that UM is among of oldest universities we have.

Sorry to said that living in Kuala Lumpur is quite costly. I'll provide you one of the famous link that we easily can find rental apartments in the country.

even though some of advertisement are in Malay language, I believe that you may roughly estimate how much it will cost you for a living. You may check the conversion rate in your currency using

Transportation is easy. Since Kuala Lumpur is the hot spot location, public transportation are everywhere. The cheapest i bet using the bus and LRT/MRT/Komuter. See the link here. It might helps.

As you reach to Kuala Lumpur International Airport by MAS or other international flight operator, you may want to use airport taxi but i bet it is expensive. So you can use ERL, an express train to city centre, KL Sentral. It cost about RM38 if i not mistaken. Then, you can get bus, taxi, LRT/MRT to your destination. Alternatively, you can use bus service which cost you only RM10.

As if you are coming by Airasia, you may want to use skybus. It will only cost you RM8 to KL sentral.

Please let me know as if you need further info. I'll try to provide as much as i can.
