Morning Poly, is there a particular reason for moving to Amsterdam? It would be easier for work opportunities as a lot of International Companies are based there and you wouldn't need to have Dutch as a language. There is a company based in Rosmalen where we are, called Cello - http://www.cello-zorg.nl/, they are a group that looks after disabled people. Whether this could be something to consider. Hope that is also a little bit of help for you. Keep me posted if you decide to move, it is nice to know someone as that is what I have missed.

    Hi sue,
Thank you for your reply. We are still in England at the moment but still looking into mivung out to Amsterdam. The worries are I wouldn't find work as I'm a specialist support assistant working with teenagers with behaviour problems. I don't think that would be an option there?? And I don't really know what else I can do?? Well winning the Lottery would be a start haha.

Hi Poly, I moved to the Netherlands in Jan 2015, we moved here for my partners work, it was a relocation. I have struggled to find a job, but with regards to the language the majority of Dutch people speak English, especially more so in places like Amsterdam. Other than not finding a job, Holland is a lovely place and it really is a great way of life. I see your post was from July so you may have already moved. I hope it is all going well.

    Sue
