hi everyone, I'll be moving to Groningen with my husband in the next two weeks. My husband will have work commitments so wondered what there is to do in terms of expat events etc to meet people from all over as well as the uk expats.
Looking forward to the move some some advice on the social scene there would be great. Is there anyone who's sampled the courses to learn Dutch at the university? Seems everyone speaks English but an attempt at Dutch would be a great way to find fellow Brits/ other friends etc x

Hey Natalie! My wife and I just moved here. We're also looking to meet some people and make friends here in town. We have not yet stepped out on the town for a night, so can't give you much advice there.
I guess its been two months now since you posted, hows it going here?
