Im a 23 year old Aussie planning to move to the Netherlands in January 2009!
I dont really know anyone besides one person there so I'm thinking of joining a fair few extra carricular activities!

I'm moving over to Netherlands next month with my Dutchman, and have been searching for signs of expat life there, any kind of reassurance that I will be fine and not a social leper, and here you girls are!!Thank you for making me feel instantly better!

Hi Victoria, Zwolle is really pretty and a lovely place to live. Its not an amazing place to find work for if you dont speak Dutch though but Amsterdam and Utrecht are nearby. Why are you moving here? Ive been here nearly 2 years now. If you fancy meeting up for a drink just let me know as sometimes its nice to chat just in E4nglish. Happy moving.

I am not there yet but when I get there hopefully I will find a job and also see a bit of holland as it looks like a beautiful place. So far I have only seen Amsterdam for one day and Zwolle for about 3 before I went home back to Australia. Is Hardenberg close to Zwolle??? That is where Im going to be staying! What do you do?
