I am working on a study to assess the social and economic inclusion of migrant workers from other EU countries in the city of Rotterdam. To capture the experiences of migrants, we are in the process of surveying a large group of migrants from all EU Member States with all kinds of backgrounds and reasons for living in Rotterdam. Our survey will ask questions about both the challenges and opportunities of the city; for example registering in the city, finding/starting work, joining sports or cultural organizations, using the health care system as well as access to good schools for those with children.
I am looking for EU citizens who have moved to Rotterdam less than 15 years ago, who are either employed, self-employed or running their own business and who reside in the city or one of its suburbs. This means I am not looking for those migrants who are students or may have retired already.
